Cookies baking

Went Bukit Timah hill after a short meet with Simying, Bengfong, Yokehong, Xuejun, Guoguan, and Yangqing.
My family were shocked by the steep slope.
Just walking makes us "hei-hei-chuan".

After getting to the summit, we wanted to have a look at the reservoir, so i took a photo of the map for reference.

Too bad it starts to pour and we went Northpoint for Sakae Sushi. LOL.

Weesiong, Chunee, and i, baked cookies at Terence's house.
Terence's a good man, knows how to bake and cook; ladies, snatch him before he's gone!

Just some of the stuff we bought.

After baking, i thought i should let Jiaying and Jiale have a taste at the chocolate "chips".
Their mother lied that Jiale's cookies are better. D:

MTERA

The Medical (Therapy, Education and Research) Act (MTERA) is an opt-in scheme, where people can pledge their organs or any body parts for the purposes of transplant, education or research after they pass away.

Compare Human Organ Transplant Act (HOTA) with MTERA.

Anyone 18 years old and above can sign up as an organ pledger. A pledge can only be revoked by the organ pledger. Upon death, the organ pledger's decision will be respected, and his family members will not be able to revoke his pledge. You can choose to donate all your organs or specify those you wish to donate.

You can pledge your organs by completing the attached Organ Donation Pledge Form and sending it to the Organ Donor Registry.

//

I have printed, persuaded both of my parents to be my witnesses, and will soon submit it.
My organs or any body parts shall serve the purposes of transplant, education or research after i'm dead.
My father is quite apathetic, and signed it immediately, but my mother took me some time to persuade.
I believe they are culturally taoist/buddhist, therefore it is easy for them to accept my body being cut-up. :D

Why waste my body parts when i'm not longer able to do good with them?
IMO, it is immoral to keep your rotting body parts while people dies/suffers without them.
Medical research on my body parts is gross, but contributes to saving thousands if not millions of lives.

This pledge should be an one way ticket to heaven.
If there is.

East vs. West -- the myths that mystify

http://www.ted.com/talks/devdutt_pattanaik.html
Devdutt Pattanaik takes an eye-opening look at the myths of India and of the West -- and shows how these two fundamentally different sets of beliefs about God, death and heaven help us consistently misunderstand one another.

Takeaway: "Within Infinite Myths lies the Eternal Truth"

Mr. Brown, thank you for the laugh!

Talk about movie: 2012(2009)

I like the movie for being able to make up so many life&death situations, which easily bring out the emotions.
The visual effects, as expected, were mostly good.
Too bad the blonde girl died, without meeting one myself, i will never be able to understand why they are stereotyped to be stupid and deserves to die. LOL.
That fatty "good, this is good" daddy died honourably, displayed the fatherly good of him, or, i would say, the selfish genes, like many other parts of the movie.
I dig the new calender part, i will totally call it dandanian calender if ever possible. xD

I still dislike my father's ignorance about so much stuff, which he is stubborn about.

Who wants to assemble a bug-out bag too? I need companies to increase my motivates, as well as to analyse/improve it. Yes, my dad's giving the "it will not happen, if it happens, we will die too quickly for us to do anything" discouragement.
