Teacher's Day

Firstly, my computer power box keep fusing. And after i took out the metal plate at the side and examine a little. I found a part EXTREMELY HOT. So, my solution.



Okay, let's get back to today. It's Teacher's Day and i haven't got anything prepared or what so ever!! The performance before this(look below) was all boring and i play Pokemon on my phone to pass time.

Duh! My intention is to take the pictures of the hyper-active girls behind!! I swear!! But look! Ricnesh, who always act cool, now laugh so brightly! Woot! It's a beautiful accident!! XD


After performance, Ch performing card tricks in class.


I went back to Xishan at 1330. Met Fanli at the waiting area first then followed by Jiahui and Yingzhu. Went in saw Mutalib and... Damn. I forget their names again. And then somehow gathered as a crowd with all those guys from 6A and 6B.... And the girls went missing. (==?)

Tour-ed around the school to refresh memories. Too bad my others friends like Kaibin, Junhong, Alex never come. Or is it that i came too late?

Anyway, while we're at the sixth floor, i heard that every ex-Xishanites is chased out. Well, we walked out ourselves though. XD


Settle at the nearby coffee shop and exchanged emails. They went to play basketball while i came home, i always dislike basketball. That's why i'm bad at it. And that's why.

Ice Skating

As mentioned below, we went to Jurong East Fuji Ice Palace to ice skate.
Out of 8 of us, i think only Ch, Daryl and Weiyang have experience.
The rest of us... Learn from accidents...
Fall, fell, bump, fall, fell, bump.
And i still couldn't skate properly(i mean, just SKATING ON THE ICE). My feet just can't balance well on the thin blade, and my ankle hurts!!

We then joined up into a straight line by holding each other's shoulder and Ch lead us on ice before we have the photo taken.

We then ate at Jurong shopping mall. We began with hot food, to warm our bodies back up. After that, half of them went to buy ice-kachang. Remember, we're just out of the ice arena. While i quene up for my cha-siew-bun, Daryl came over with a sick face and say, 'Very cold arh...', and then later saw Thongthai shivering badly while eating the bowl of ice, the shiver was so bad that the liquid on the spoon just splash on the table. LOL.


On the way back home. Liangyi did 'magic' with his 'magical' gloves. The 'magic' was hilarous and no passenger dares to sit beside him then.

HMT Prelims

Man. I did not have enough sleep last night and i "failed" my Paper 1 Section 2. Because! I obsolutely left 10% of the words blank. If only there were 5 minutes more for me to flip my dictionary... Orz

Going to Jurong East to ice-skate. I know it doesn't sound right but i'm going since my classmates are all going and it'll be a good chance to learn how and have fun altogether.

Campus Superstar

Ahhh. I only watched the last two episodes, but i enjoyed it truly!!

Yargh!! Keely emerged as the Female Champion and Shawn as the overall champion.

The song i enjoyed most was LiangShanBo yu Juliet(EDITED), sang by Keely and Zhiyang(EDITED), neat!!

Sadly, Keely sang badly for Amei's song, 'RenZhi'. :(

Anyway, Shawn will meet his enemy soon, PUBERTY, heh, and let's see what happens to him. XDXD

Man, i'm so envious of their skills and vocals. :(

Chai Quan

Just some photos to show the forfeit that the people who lost the game. The others who lost just got whacking on their arms, the two of them were much more special.

Avast! I screwed Chemistry Practical test, too. I broke one test tube while attempting to test for carbon dioxide gas. And end up it's not everything. I leave it as hydrogen gas which is so not possible because my blue litmus paper turned red.


8 guys of 4E2 then went to block 110 to fill the stomach and went for change of clothes.

And later, meet up in the Party World.

This time was hella more fun. Liangyi took little effort to make us laugh like hell. XD




Hokkien songs are unexpectedly tough, i can't pronounce most of the words. :(

Let's see. I'm grateful that someone wrote at my tagboard. It's only polite to update. XD

Monday is the Physic Practical Prelims Exam. The paper told me to record a estimated value of 0.1A, i remembered Ms Ilysa saying that the instrument cannot measure something that is not on the scale. So, i wrote there 0.1A. After that, i am suppose to record the values of the voltmeter, i applied the same theory, and my answers are of ultra-standard, that is, a increase of 0.2V for each value, and the graph is PERFECT! :D (i got the x-axis wrongly, too)


The quarantine was bad. I swallowed the... Grape chewy sweet in less than 10 minutes. And then i've got absolutely nothing to do. Shiver. Shiver. 16 degree celcius you see. But the Oreo from Edwin did warm me back up a little.

Somehow and someway i followed Zhijun and Simying(as they are in the same shift and quarantine as me). Went to the hawker center near Northpoint together with ZJ, SY and Soane(sorry, i've got no idea of the spelling). Then received a message from CH saying that he's feeling devastated and need to go to Party World to relieve himself. I found out that ZJ has the coupon, well, why not? ZJ also told Gigi(who was with CH) that she's gonna buy bra, so the meeting point is set outside E2.


But after some though and discussion, we decided to save the vocal to, after the Chemistry Practical Exam. Me and CH decided to go to the gym though. I called Thongthai(who always agree to tag along), and met up at Khatib Stadium around 30 minutes later.

I carried the lightest, then TT would add 10kg or 20kg, and CH, most of the time, does the heaviest work. Arghh... My biceps doesn't work!! I love the track mill best, i can run all day!! XD

Today, there is this Singapore Polytechnic one-day-trial/visit thingy. After the form was passed all around, i was the only one going (F), the rest were going (A). :( Then i saw one (C)(Maritime), CH, going his engineer course, i then change it to (C) too, Nautical Studies is what i'm having in mind, but that doesn't make sense, the most will be we being in the same building. I'm gonna change it back to (F) the next time i see the paper.

What Nautical Studies attract me is that you are gonna travel on board!! On a ocean that seems to be middle of nowhere! You get the darkest sky, and brightest star. I want to see those stars i saw 2 years back. They were fascinating let i tell you.


I also went to search about stargazing in Singapore, and i did found results, better than what i've expected. One suggested places such as Singapore Polytechnic block XX, Ngee Ann Polytechnic Astrology club. Sounds like a great deal to me.

Wandering...

Yesterday, took Biology Practical Exam. Practically, i did well, theorotically i sucked. After that went to Party World late, it's kinda like a celebration for Liangyi and Yangqin birthdays. Liangyi was so shy and embarrassed that i felt almost disgusted. Hahahah!!

After that, went to Joscelin's house, which is quite near and very messy. Hah! Ordered pizzas, Alvin ate his vegie pizza from Pizza Hut first. And when our Canadian Pizza's 4 pizzas, came he quietly played the Nitendo DS. XD

Today assembly was great. The racial thing was neat and the performance by 3T1 was the best!! They played the song 'Superwoman', the one in English, and the lead singer was a malay guy whent he singer of the song is a female!! So... It went a little off tune. Great courage for him man, i clapped like nobody's business!!

After school, Beng Fong drank his Iced Milo so slowly, for at least 45 minutes. Then i went to school, passed birthday day present, then did a little Maths and went to Yokehong's house and do some more Maths, then came back to school to do bits of Maths, and i wander here and there, saying hello here and there. Heh.

Sleeping Tow beauty

Afternoon school, that is after noon, i was discussing about the year-end chalet and the party tomorrow. Thongthai came up and reminded me that there is a concert by the Chinese Orchestra and Band below, but when i was there, it had ended already.

After that is Biology, Ms Tow goes through a MCQ paper up till a point where she says it's too slow, and someone suggested to just quietly write the answers on the board, she replied, 'Dun wan larh, not my style leh.'

Ms Ilysa, if you are reading this... Please! Do not spread among the teachers! Especially to her!

After a... I would call it nagging, all of us did the new worksheet quietly. Then, as Zhiyu went up to enquire, he found her asleep.


And after that, we are released a little earlier. That makes me a little guilty to post the picture above. Heh.

Oral Examination... Orz

Let's see, i stumbled at least thrice for my passage reading, pronunced badly. Picture, average, they are going back to usual lessons, but since it is their first day in day, they would probably do some icebreaking to familiarise themselves with the classmates, teachers and envoironment. Conversasion, answered too directly therefore nothing to elaborate on and... Said some stuff that i'm afraid that the examiners won't be able to understand... Like, if we have a healthy diet, we eat more vegetables, less grazing by animals, more crops, more photosythesis, more oxygen, less Global Warming, also more crop can be spared to the children in the third world countries.

Merit please. XD

After that discussed with some of the 4E2-ians about the end of year chalet.

Then took a bus at the bus stop opposite of where i normally go, just to accompany Liangyi and Kelvin, heh. At one stop, when the bus was going to move off, two kids ran towards the left side of the bus. One kicked it, the other tried to hold on to the deck. The bus driver went down and gave them a word. They must be bored.

Oral practice

Today was a tiring day, or should i say, i am tired and sleepy today. Last night, i listen to 9.33 after midnight, and the DJ was telling ghost stories, and yesterday, is the beginning of the lunar ghost festival. The background music was disgusting, but still, i made myself felt uneasy by the over-usage of IMAGINATION!!!

Okay, now get back to some serious stuff. Ordinary Level Oral Examination's held tomorrow. So, today, i took the trouble to find Madam Kaur, the ultra experience English teacher in Ahmad Ibrahim! Together with Joscelin, Guo Quan, Ting Xuan, and later joined by Cassandra, we practiced. I failed my first try, stumbled upon strings of words that are more difficult to pronounce, and had a lot of unnecessary pauses. Later got a 7 or 8 over 12 for the second try, on the same passage!!(Sounds pathetic eh?)

Had some laughter here and there, mainly over mispronounciation and the drama that Mdm Kaur made up herself, she even claims to... What's that word? The one which means behaving like a child when you are... Too matured. Nevermind.

How to pronounce CHILDREN?
Chill out. Chill out. Remove the 'out'. Add 'dren', pronounce it as, 'de ren'(At least this works for Chinese).

Whew. I shall switch to channel 5 later. Can't afford to flunk English!!

KTV

Ch and Alvin decides to go to the Party World KTV at safra.

But 3 guy is no-no for a KTV session. It's like you get to sing every 3mins, that is lame and tiring.

So, Ch and i(who met up first), called everyone that can be called in our contact list. But, everyone is somewhere watching movie or shopping, if not, they are too shy to sing.

Finally i persuaded Thongthai to come while waiting for Alvin(who is still at Angmokio).

Then... It's singing and fun!!

After all, Thongthai and i both agreed that... All songs are difficult to sing... Hahah! XD

National Day Celebration

Last night Yangqin sent a message saying that we shall wear class tee. I forwarded to all my classmates.

Then replies came back one by one, 'Class tee is white larh! You stupid or what?', 'Can wear class tee meh?', Edwin's reply tickled me, 'Class tee is not part of the approved uniform.'

I replied, 'Aiya, Singapore flag got both red and white mah. If everybody wear red where got look like Singapore flag? Just wear larh.'

Performance and sing along was nice. That visually-handicapped guy sang high!! Though it was always off the original version, but well, i take it as personal style.

Volleyball, the girls won easily, which i did not expect to be. Well done getting the second position!! As for the boys, the other team was too strong, 5N1. Mixed team, nice try. :)

Went KFC to eat(heck), then went to Northpoint, to get Pokemon comics, but alas, Popular seemed to have replaced them. Saw Menghui there, wandering aimless like me. XD

PAPER RECYCLING IN SCHOOL?

I having a hell of a time with my coughing. My throat feels extremely dry, broken and wounded. I went to the E key when i tried to shout for Liangyi at the volleyball court a few days ago.

Hm. Hey guys, if there is a recycle bin for paper at the General Office, would you collect waste paper and place it there? I need votes for this. Mr. Faizal the geography teacher wants to do it.

Today in class, the guys behind, started off something racist, and all i could remember is that the medium is prata. Which is famously known and made by indians.

Someone said this, 'The indian god made a big prata, then he spins it, and he cannot catch it, and the prata fell to the Earth, half of it on Italy and the other on India.'

I'm sorry but i seriously love this joke and laughed like nobody's business, but it made no sense! India's in Asia and Italy in Europe!!

I thought that it's good enough to end the thing already, but they carried on.

Then someone said, 'I had enough of you all already lah.' with much sacarsm and unhappiness, but the emotions didn't reach the people it was supposed to reach.

Then another guy realised it earlier but didn't not fire the signal serious enough. 'Now you know why Ricnesh today never come to school.'

After school, Daryl and Thongthai wanted to buy PS2 CDs, so we walked all the way to the 200's, it's like a force-march for my legs. In the Macdonald's a Northland ah-lian-looking-girl leaned over and asked Weiyang, 'Why you never eat finish?' "Huh? i'm full already." 'Why you full already?', her friend then brings her back and question why was she doing that, she replied, 'I'm bored what.'

Another encounter with the same girl. Her female friends came and... She went up and hug her, for more than 30seconds, and right beside Weiyang, i looked at him and he was having some kind of sensational expression. Hahah!

After SRP, went to the volleyball courts to watch... After that drank tea with Guoquan, Simying and Yokehong, and they reminded me of the happy times in Seconday One.

Later when i thought i had to walk back home, i saw a bus and took it immediately, forgetting that i do not have credits in my card. 'Well, i have coins.', i thought. 50 cents. Damn. But the female bus driver was kind, she said that i should just put them in, i thanked her and went home. :)

End.

Volleyball and... The Truth(?)

Volleyball's fun!! But i need more practise.

After volleyball, a few of us went to block 110 for a drink. Yokehong and CH kept chatting about religious stuff which the rest of us are not proficient at. Until a point, where a discussion of supernatural and how they make sense starts. The discussion jumps from point to point as if Yokehong is thinking what CH's thinking. It's moving at such a fast pace that i do not have the chance to voice out the doubts of a previous topic, and i got confused at times!! I'm tired and a little less interested.

It's becoming a own set of beliefs. If it was to be polished, analysed and published, it may even become a new religion. I won't be inside though. :P I'm more motivated when it comes to Psychology, rather than Philosophy. Man, i'm tired. Night.

Evening study and volleyball

Lessons as usual. Planned to stay in school and be in the Evening Study program with C.h.. Good that RYL, WY, TT came back to school and played volleyball(every court was filled as NDP inter-class volleyball competition's coming), and all the way until 9pm. Man, i felt so inferior in the games, and impressed by all the skillful players out there. I'd love to have some practice in the future P.E. lessons, to at least, master the very basics.

Did Chemistry worksheets, asking question every now and then. It's good, better than me doing blindly, and forgetting what i've done, at home.

Heard from Daryl that one dancer got knocked by a car while waiting for the bus. It's suppose to be a tragedy but we still find humour in it. Like... The dancer must be ballet-ing and spinning across the road that the driver got so irritated and he had to step on the pedal. XDXD
And even the though of asking Bengfong whether his sister's okay or not.
