Spectacles

After few days of blurred vision, i finally found my way to the spectacles shop in Chong Pang.

So... I had over 150 degrees at both eyes. Sob. :(

Then went in for the vision test, i am AMAZED when the guy slot in the lens. Everything became crystal clear!! LOL!

Shit... I don't want to wear anything on my eyes... And shit... My chance of being a navigating officer is getting lower...

Google Earth

It's been quite a while since i last updated, that's because there's nothing of interest. :/

Here, i introduce this program that Yokehong introduced to me. Behold, Google Earth!!

In the program, you get to view the world, although it is unlikely that you find your doorstep, it is still quite cool! I found my Primary School Fitness corner at least.

What's more, the new version of it has an additional function, Google Sky!!

It allows you to view galaxies and costellations from your point of view, for instance, my house.

From there, you can also make time flow, and planets and Moon will orbit around. Bah, that's enough of an introduction.

Sunday = Family Day

That's a bee in the boutique in Ahmad Ibrahim. We just watched during Mdm Kaur's lesson inside the AVA theatre. Liangyi says, 'Later i shoot one movie call Liangyi and the bee.' and i replied, 'i sure go buy ticker watch!', the answer was, 'Go die lah!'. XD

I went to buy a binoculars today at Omni-Theatre's Astro-shop. It costed a whooping S$168. And i still need a star chart(S$48+), a Planisphere(S$29). Orz. I only bought the Celestron UpClose 7-15x35 bino- though. Not sure if i bought the right one... I read on the net that i should get X-50 one... Now after getting home i read 'Avoid getting zooming ones...' =="

Anyway, on the way back to the Jurong East MRT station, saw these weird bunch of people. Wearing this box... And i couldn't remember anything else. ==


My mother wanted to go to IMM, so... We went inside Giant and i saw this kid, playing PSP in the trolley, and i took this on impulse. LOL.


Now that i have a bino-, i need a place to make use of it. Until now, i only view the Moon, and it's not so bad! My mother went, 'Oh my god, oh my god, it look so near!!' I laughed my ass off. Craters can almost be seen clearly at least. Now i just need to learn more of the constellations. :)

Prelims ain't that scary, that's up till this point of time. The papers are not as difficult as expected. Although i think i'll still be scoring badly. XD Irony huh?

Doomsday

Guess what, it's 0200 amd 5 hours away from school and Prelims EMaths Paper 1!! I just can't sleep lah, what to do...

It's said that i don't need to work hard since i'm gonna go polytechnic for sure... But i want to at least have a presentable 'O' level certificate... If it's L1R5 40 and everything is D and below, i would just throw it away. =="

It's a shame.

Let's say i really go Nautical Studies, i'll be on board like for half of my life time. How to get married and give birth? No, i mean, how to find a girlfriend? ._. I should reconsider... XD

I'm gonna try to sleep now. XD

Bad Dream

Okay. I dreamt this yesterday so... The impression is fading away and i can't speak of the details.

I think i remember myself and family members in my house's master bedroom. Was chatting around there. The atmosphere was eerie and i receive a call, so i pick it up and say hello. Then the reply was something that is not of my language, and later a series of freaking noise. I forgot how i end this call though. <_<

After that, all of us went out to the living room, then another call came. So i pick up again, and this time, it's like some chanting of what is not my language, i turned on the loud speaker and bring it to my parents, we were at the door, seems to be going out somewhere when i drop the phone and it ended. ._.

I became more suspicious yesterday and i didn't have a good sleep at all. In the end i turned on National Geographic and drank a cup of strawberry wine to increase my metabolic rate, so that i get tired and sleep. Didn't work so well afterall. Orz.

Dang. The site doesn't load my photos again, guess i'll have to speak the three thousand words that the three pictures meant.

Ch got a KFC 5 dollars voucher by replying 'No.' to the uncle's question.
And i got a Cathay voucher from the Early Bird Draw.
The buffet was greaaaaaaaat! I had a nice filling. *Burp*

The few of us together with Daryl went to watch Ratatouille, and i used my voucher!!
It's much better than Evan Almight and is worth the money, time, saliva that you waste after all the laughing.

On the train home, Ch mentioned about going ice-skating again, and we are gonna bring a girl along with us each. Daryl got... Ch, no problem. Kelvin say he's gonna bring Mindy(Wtf...), and me?? :3

Family Day

Shit, i forgot that i'm having my entry on the clipboard and i went to cut and paste the meaning of diode for Liangyi... Damn

I woke at 3pm when i slept at 3pm last night.

My dad ask, 'Go play pool?'
'Okay.'
'Play bowling lah?'
'Fine...'
'Or want to sing?'
'... Sing lor.'

So we went to Party World. The coupon is not usable as usual, and the place is almost full. So we got the BIGGEST ROOM. Which seems to be for 20 people!! No choice and it's a... awkward experience. I love the part where i and my dad sang 'Qian Li Zi Wai', he sang for FeiYuQing. LOLOLOL!

After singing, we went up stairs to play pool. My mom is left-handed and i had a hard time teaching her. And in the end i accidently push the black ball inside and lost ot my dad. ==

Then went to Cold Storage to play spirit. 'Fifteen men on a dead man's chest, yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.' That's a line from some pirate thingy. I'm really curious how a rum taste like so i asked my father to buy one. LOL.

There's two kind, one is old rum, which looks black and... Dirty. So i bought the other, whih look so silvery and clear. Gonna save it till the end of year man, 43%, woot.
