Arhhhh! I keep being late for meetings, work, and fun!!

Let's take yesterday for example, i only went out of house at 1355 when we're suppose to meet at AMK at 1415. And then, i am suppose to leave for work at 1500, but after all the waiting for lunch, and desperate attempt to play some more matches of pool, i found out that i am still at AMK at 1355. Ran out to fetch a cab. I've been taking cabs for quite a few times already... Orz. I'm lost 25% of what i earn yesterday.

Today will be a tiring day, 11-3 at Jurong Bird Park, 4-12 at Night Safari. And there is also a big miss out, Joyce He asked me to gate crash NYJC today together, damn, i wish i can be there, must be fun. :(

I achieved 15 points for my L1R5, and 12 for my L1B4. Totally happy, now i have no problem putting EWT(with cut-off point 13) in my list!

During yesterday KTV... I sat on my spectacles and, cracked, the left frame snapped into two. Now i'm spending SDG50 to repair it. T_T

Later probably going to play LAN with gang again. It's kinda fun to have Weiyang the fresh hand on the team... XD

Today getting 'O' Level results, a bit nervous but heck, as if it will change the result.

Totally enjoyable and relaxing work day

Board the MRT at 1410... Then saw a familiar SMART uniform(violet top and blue pant), with a funny tie, and found out that it's Shun Cong. Totally surprised by him.

He is now working at the SMART customer service section, pay is SGD6.50(?) per hour, and he does things like sitting in the control station i think. He's traveling from Orchard back to his main station, as he went to help out at the Orchard closed or new station, couldn't remember.

Reached Jurong Bird Park by taxi with 3 other workmates, the Bongo Burgers there is totally sparkling in outer appearance and air-conditioned! I was so jealous of their workplace(don't need to light up candles some more)!

But... The kitchen is almost dirty. :X

Carried goods here and there, discovering a cockroach nest at a corner of the almost deserted storeroom, stamping on one of them to find white liquid outta their body(they tell me it's stomach juice).

After the not tiring at all piece of work, we sat down at the nice comfortable fake-leather seat(the store's closed already), eating the Crispy Wings and Chicken Nuggets fried by one of my workmates. Had two rounds, and one (tiny)box of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Fudge ice cream. Weeeee!

Then loaded two dispensers and a rubbish-bin-like bin on to the buggy, my manager drove us to another restaurant.

Spooky. I am sure that if it is used as a House of the Dead movie scene, the movie will be a blockbuster. We went around discovering the old kitchen(kopped some stuff in the process, such as this nice looking mineral water bottle). The only appealing thing about there is the view of the Flamingo pond by the dining area, too bad it's already dark.

After getting back, we took another ice cream and went back home. LOL.

A introduction to my PINK Nintendo DS Lite

By the request of dearest Carin Low Zhi Jun, i'm gonna post as many (interesting) stuff as i can.

I've finally gotten the adapter used for NDSL to play roms(don't go around spreading that i do illegal stuff, alright?).

Yesterday night, after a afternoon shopping at Bugis Junction for New Year, and a night playing computer games at Raiders near Ang Mo Kio Hub, i sat right the place when i am sitting now, trying very hard to make my NDSL playable.

I had a irritating time fixing it, for instance, refer to this thread in SGClub forum.

But as you will see in the thread, i solved it and i had a great time tapping on the screen last night, on the bus this afternoon and just before i typed this entry!

I'm particularly in fancy with the game: Brain Age. I ought to have played it earlier. Because. My memory is in the drain, my spoken English is in my arse, my written Chinese is in your nose! That's how bad i'm getting. XD

One Missed Bus

Heh. Today's title is [One Missed BUS].

Why? Because... *flashback*

After a long day of fine working and learning at Bongo Burgers, i stayed back for a farewell session to our dearest assistant manager, Kevin. Take photo, eat mango cake, shook hands. At 0030, which is the time when my transport bus goes, i ran...

*runs in the darkness*

*enter light*

*saw that bus gone*

I turned back and saw other workmates, told them my situation and i was asked to see David the manager...

David tried to call the transport bus that ran away to come back, but even after a hard search for the bus uncle's number, the number's 'un-call-able'. Before i realise, i stupidly showed David a message from a workmate who tried to help me, and the message goes, 'Maybe David can help you claim the cab fare'.

I got kinda sorry to bother David, Kevin and their friends(who were chatting along). So i suggest that i would take taxi on my own, but well, due to the message(i believe), he said that i will take the receipt and claim from the company.

So i went off to the road and called that workmate to ask for taxi company's number. The number did not work, however, i saw a taxi upfront(who was waiting for my manager and etc.), and called the number on the car(LOL.).

After a while, the manager and etc. came out and board the taxi but saw me. David and Kevin did not get in the cab, instead, ask me about whether i have called the taxi or not. I said i did but they still do not want to leave me alone waiting. So i quickly callback and canceled my request for the cab and board the manager's. Got off at the bus stop at Mandai road.

As the bus stop was dark and so, i went forward to search for the taxi, when a call from Kevin remind me to do what i just did(LOL.).

Home.

Must say to my blog readers that i am very touched by their care, on top of the fact that Kevin helped and guided me very much when i first came to Bongo Burgers. Thanks.

Second-handed *PINK* Nintendo DS Lite!

I met this guy named scotfielf at the forum SGClub. And... After some waiting and a meeting at Novena MRT station(wish he had come forward to me! My brown sling bag is much more obvious than his plastic bag!), i got this... At SGD 175. Which i consider a just right price. Although i must make it clear that i don't fancy PINK, i just don't mind, and i can spray it or skin the NDSL whenever i like.


As for now... I'm waiting for the stuff i've ordered online to be use with the NDSL. It costed me 125, which makes the whole thing cost SGD300, well, at least cheaper than Beng Fong's SGD 400 PSP which i don't like at all. Interactive games for the win!
